Studio Mika are expert consultants in the field of social media marketing and optimisation. Specifically within to two visual marketing platforms – Pinterest and Instagram – currently the fastest growing social networks.
Studio Mika required a brand that would speak to potential clients within creative and visual industries and reflect the founder’s personal style and approach.
A language-led solution
We created a language-led solution which drew on the terminology of the two social platforms – hashtags, post, pins and boards – well known to even casual users. The logo-as-positioning-statement quickly sets up a confident, but not too serious, brand personality.
Recognisable iconography was borrowed directly from the social media platforms and repurposed to reflect the statements and provide a visual link.
The Four ‘M’s
We created a simple secondary mark to act as a shorthand and for use at small sizes in their own social media channels.
This was also used to visualise ‘The Four ‘M’s’ – Studio Mika’s systematic approach to social media strategy.
