For over 25 years, Melbourne-based photography James Geer has been shooting for leading brands and publications all over the world. His work spans lifestyle, interiors and portraiture, with an emphasis on storytelling and a strong connection to people and place.

With industry trends shifting towards large quantities of mass-produced content, James sought to elevate his brand and website to reinforce his expertise and commitment to producing smaller collections of authentic, beautifully crafted imagery.

This combination of factors led to our Self-truth®, ‘Always moving’. The visual identity is simple and bold, a simple blinking shutter motif allows the user to ‘see through the eyes’ of James Geer, and adds a layer of movement to the brand.

James’ new website presents his work in curated case studies, with written anecdotes by James giving behind-the-scenes context and insights. On the homepage and menu, the shutter motif provides glimpses of projects at a glance, guiding users to relevant work seamlessly.
