Challenge
Resilient Ready is on a mission to create a more resilient Australia, ready for anything. They provide consultancy, programs, workshops and tools for building disaster resilience. Their proven model empowers government, business and the community to withstand disasters, and be ready to turn any challenge into an opportunity.
Already having a strong name, compelling purpose and a proven method, Self-titled were engaged to create a brand which would position this offer in a clear and differentiating manner to the broad spectrum of potential clients.
Solution
Through our strategic process, we uncovered a Self-truth® of ‘Intersecting Opportunities’. This spoke to the often unseen opportunities building resilience can add to any business or community, and to where the organisation operates – at the intersection of business and community – where the core opportunity lies for true community-wide resilience and a sustainable Australian economy.
This drove a visual language of intersecting and overlapping forms used across hero graphics, symbols and program icons to show business profit and community benefit – as two sides of the same coin.
We identified early on that the business name itself offered an opportunity for an engaging language – by swapping out which audience was ‘resilient’ and what they could be ‘ready’ to do.
Online ready
Self-titled translated a redefined brand architecture into a website structure which would clearly present the broad offering of resources and solution types – from workshops, training and events, to community hubs, roadmaps, micro-learning modules, eCommerce and a podcast.
Clearly established user journeys ensured a user-friendly website, navigable by sector or solution type.
The build ensured flexibility and scalability so that the Resilient Ready team can easily update content, ensuring the website can grow into the future as they do.

Resilient Ready Hubs
Resilient Ready Hubs connect networks of people and organisations brought together by location, business type, industry, or challenge.
Through intensive consultation with each Hub, a topic is established and roadmap to build resilience is co-created.
Self-titled developed an online learning system which allows Resilient Ready to create and deliver each of the unique roadmaps to the relevant hub.
Once signed up, hub member businesses complete a questionnaire. A dynamic scorecard displays the results, highlighting what resilience systems they already have in place and which they need to work on.
The users dashboard is then populated with corresponding learning modules – a series of interactive tools and worksheets – which can be completed as users employ new learnings in their day-to-day business practices.
Results
Originally the small business and community sub-brand of corporate2community, the work undertaken has been so successful that it is now the lead brand, with existing C2C programs to be delivered under the Resilient Ready brand in future.
