Challenge
Resilient Ready is on a mission to create a more resilient Australia, ready for anything. They provide consultancy, programs, workshops and tools for building disaster resilience. Their proven model empowers government, business and the community to withstand disasters, and be ready to turn any challenge into an opportunity.
Already having a strong name, compelling purpose and a proven method, Self-titled were engaged to create a brand which would position this offer in a clear and differentiating manner to the broad spectrum of potential clients.
Solution
Through our strategic process, we uncovered a Self-truth® of ‘Intersecting Opportunities’. This spoke to the often unseen opportunities building resilience can add to any business or community, and to where the organisation operates – at the intersection of business and community – where the core opportunity lies for true community-wide resilience and a sustainable Australian economy.
This drove a visual language of intersecting and overlapping forms used across hero graphics, symbols and program icons to show business profit and community benefit – as two sides of the same coin.
We identified early on that the business name itself offered an opportunity for an engaging language – by swapping out which audience was ‘resilient’ and what they could be ‘ready’ to do.
