Self-titled Island House Hero2
Island House
Ten peerless residences,
One island site

A campaign brand for a bespoke apartment development that emphasises its unique offer and site.

Volume Projects were looking to market seven bespoke residences and three full floor penthouses with private lift lobby and protected 360 degree views. In this instance, Volume Projects collaborated with Pitch Architecture and Fiona Lynch for interior design.

Self-titled Island House Architects Response

Solution

The project was effectively located on its own island site, situated on a small inner urban block surrounded by streets and laneways. With the project never to be built out, the name Island House was chosen which provided intrigue based on the sites location, and elevation on the crest of Richmond Hill overlooking East Melbourne. A campaign and suite of images were created to help reinforce the unique offer in a differentiating and memorable way.

A chamfered marble plinth directly reflected Pitch’s architectural response, and a still-life composition of floral elements and a rendered gold IH monogram represented the nearby Fitzroy Gardens and prestigious surrounds.
